Writing and sunburn!

I've been in sunny Rhodes for four days now and it's great. On my second day here I covered my face in sun cream and went for a walk. After visiting some old haunts I found myself at Mandraki harbour in a lovely little cafe and spent a couple of hours typing away and waving the waiter down for more coffee. Sounds perfect doesn't it??????

When I was finished I walked back to where I am staying and took a short nap. When I woke up My eyes were a little painful, by the next day I could hardly open them..... I think the sun is a little stronger than I remembered. I have actually burnt my eye lids. Not to worry, the pharmacist here is great and I got drops that really help, but I have to stay out of the sun as much as possible. Not so easy when it never goes away but I should be fine in a day or two.

In work news I have been writing some more in the djinni story from the Alphabet series. This one is a little more complicated than the others as it spans a longer time frame and jumps around different characters. She met Galia when I was typing yesterday and for once the woman didn't annoy me. She was helpful and not as cryptic as she usually is.

I'm currently sitting at my friend's work place waiting for him to finish work before we head out to Lindos for the afternoon. Posting blogs might be difficult over the next couple of weeks, the internet where I am staying is spotty at best, but I will try. So...
