The year is almost done.

Like last year I spent most of this year at my computer with my imaginary friends. But what fun we had.
I found a loving community filled with witches and vampires. I fought demons and nightwalkers, while searching for people in need of help. Together my friends and I cleansed the waters and warned the mischief makers to behave. We built a retreat for all magical beings and the ancestors returned. Angels lifted my spirits in my darker moments and the comradery between the races gives me hope.
For you this is all still to come. I hope you can give me time to polish the stories.
In the real world I typed a lot and drank too much coffee.
But I also reconnected with old friends. I found that while I sit alone in my room I can still connect with other people. While I curse technology, as I find it difficult to understand, I cannot deny how it can connect people. No matter the outcome, I cannot deny a certain kind of peace as the year draws to a close. Anything seems possible when people come together.
So as this year ends and we all hope for a better one to come, remember we are all in this world together. Sometimes people just need to feel connected to others.

Grab a book. Snuggle up and read. A good story can take you anywhere.
