Almost there!

I am almost finished with NaNoWriMo, just over a week to go.

I moved away from the Alphabet series this week and continued Ash's Adventures. I am finding it a little strange to see this young fairy in the magical world. He began life in my books as a naughty little imp who was making the neighbourhood children misbehave. In The Danny books he regained his wings and returned to help Thomas become a nicer person.

Danny and Ash were both tiny little things, barely five inches tall. Now, with the release of the source power, the whole world has changed. Ash is able to be a tiny fairy, fluttering around, hidden from sight. But he can also grow to the size of a normal person. His wings disappear and he strolls the street and talks to people.

I will admit I did not see this change when I first created his character. After a few chapters the people I invent take on a life of there own. I am no longer in control of the story or the characters. They have a life of their own.
